A Reflective Walk in Nature Eco-Pilgrimage

Sparrowcreek Farm, 23000 Rawlison Crescent, Langley

Pilgrimage groups (no larger than 5 people) will depart from the trailhead every 20 minutes for the approximately 45-minute walk (appx time includes stops for reflection). Departure times will be available between 8:20 am and 10:20 am and between 12:20 pm and 3:00 pm. To help manage the traffic on the trail, please pre-register and book your departure time, in advance. You can register by email at office@stgeorgeanglican.ca. Please indicate your preferred time for your pilgrimage departure.

Maps, markers of pilgrimage, and a guide booklet will be at the trailhead to help you with your pilgrimage experience.

We will celebrate a service of Holy Eucharist, on the farm, between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm. All are welcome to attend this service.

We invite you to enjoy coffee & tea (please bring your own mug) at the farmhouse for a time to reflect with others on the pilgrimage experience. There will also be several books and other resources available for you to read and review.

The day will finish with a service of Holy Eucharist and supper at St. George’s in Fort Langley.

The pilgrimage and the supper are free events. You will have an opportunity to make a donation to support this event and the many ministries that St. George’s and Salal + Cedar offer to the community.

No dogs please as their presence disrupts the nature experience.

Accessibility:  The farm property involves navigating a gravel driveway and some hills. The paths for the majority of the walk are easy to follow and unpaved. Please be aware of the possibility of encountering bees and mud. A motorized cart ride may be available for those who need mobility support. The path to the farmhouse for coffee and tea involves a small set of stairs.  If you have questions about accessibility, or needs we may be able to support you around, please reach out to Laurel separately from the registration email.

Register for the pilgrimage, Eucharist, and/or supper by email: office@stgeorgeanglican.ca

We hope to see many of you there!
